When? 

Time is so precious to us, 
yet in the time to come. 
Time is endless! 
In GOD's time 
everything happens for a reason 
and it happens in HIS time table 
of which is perfect. 

So why 
do we then get impatient? 
Waiting and wondering 
IF it will happen 
and WHEN it will come about? 
Why can we not just sit back 
and KNOW that it will, 
and thus be patient 
and wait in humility? 

I believe 
we are like the little child 
that is in the car 
going to grandma's 
and it is an hour drive. 
Yet every 5 minutes 
and sometimes less, 
this child asks, 
"are we there yet?" 
It gets annoying to us as parents, 
but it does not stop the child. 
So after awhile, 
we as parents, 
begin to laugh 
at what seemed to be, 
unlaughable before. 
And we can see ourselves in it, 
IF we really look. 

I know myself, 
that I many times, 
wonder and doubt and think--------- 
when will it happen? 
IF it will? 

Yet I stand 
on the promises 
my FATHER has made, 
and HE reminds me over 
and over again. 
As this is said, 
or that is said, 
and HE reminds me 
that HE gave me those words 
in the beginning. 
And HE is reminding me 
to stand on them. 
For HIS promises are true 
and faithful. 

And I wonder, 
IF HE is up there smiling at me, 
as I have my children, 
as they repeatedly ask.............when? 

Yet they know they will get to grandma's 
and we WILL have our promises 
of our FATHER,too.
